Polo Match (Germany) offers single and group classes for beginners and advanced players of all ages. Thanks to the rich experience of Argentinian trainers the beginners will quickly gain the skills and expertise to participate in polo matches and to discover the pleasure of playing. Advanced players can enhance their techniques and improve their handicap. Upon request clinics can be organized in Germany and Argentina.
Polo Match (Germany) organizes tournaments in all handicap classes in (Germany), which gives the learner the opportunity to participate in real tournaments even in the earliest phases of the training.
The training plan of each learner will be discussed and individually designed according to the learner’s personal preferences and development goals. For beginners it is recommended to start with a few single classes and to join a group class subsequently. The single class serves as an entry into the polo world – the major motions, techniques of stroke, and riding skills will be precisely trained and exercised.
In the group classes the learners gain playing experience. Team skills, rapid responsiveness, and strategic thinking will be encouraged and developed. After the basic playing techniques have been sufficiently acquired the attention is directed to the connection and harmony of rider and horse, to the unity in the team and to the common target and strategy.
The classes can take place on a private horse or on an Argentinian polo horse provided by the school. Currently, Polo Match (Germany) offers a choice of eight thoroughbred and experienced polo ponies from Argentina for the courses or for the participation in tournaments. The noble bloodline of the school horses and their experience on the course contribute to creating the perfect learning conditions for the prospective players. Riding skills are not a prerequisite for attending the polo classes - if necessary, the trainers of Polo Match (Germany) will gladly instruct you how to ride on horseback.
Furthermore, the Argentinian trainers offer initial and advanced training for private horses. The training enhances the performance of the horse which leads to better achievements of the rider-horse-team and to more pleasure and satisfaction from the game.
